Overview

  • The purpose of Pickerington Schools' school and athletic handbooks is to provide students and families with information about the policies and procedures which govern academic, athletic, and student life at our school. The policies and procedures set forth in our handbooks are designed to promote a rigorous, safe and nurturing environment for students that enables the school community to focus on the learning process.

Our handbooks set out the policies, rules, and guidelines that are to be followed by our students and their parents or guardians. These policies, rules, and guidelines may be changed or amended at any time to better reflect the needs of our school community. When the handbooks change, new copies will be shared with our students and their guardians.

Each handbook contains information specific to the educational level for which it is intended. Parents and guardians are expected to read and review with their child the polices, rules, and guidelines set forth in the specific handbook that applies to their child's grade level. Pickerington Schools looks forward to partnering with you to provide the best possible educational experience for your child. Using and understanding this handbook will help ensure everyone in our schools has a safe, productive and fulfilling school year.

Our school handbooks are not an all-inclusive list of policies and procedures for our district/schools. If you have questions about a school matter, please contact your student’s teacher or building administrator.
