    Pickerington Schools Food Services is made up of dedicated child nutrition professionals focused on supporting our children's education one meal at a time! Feeding students healthy, nutritious food is key to their learning. A nutritious breakfast and healthy lunch nourishes the body, improves brain function, and allows children to concentrate on schoolwork. This is our recipe for success!
     
    Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served in Pickerington Schools meet state and federal requirements based on U.S. Department Of Agriculture (USDA) Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with healthy and fun food options, including salad bars and fresh-made pizza. 
  • Frequently Asked Questions About New Family Portal for Food Service 

    1. What will happen to my child’s remaining balance?

      1. The balance will roll over to the new system.

    2. Will my money be lost or gone? 

      1. No, the money that is left in your child’s account will remain in the account and will roll over with the new system.

    1. How will you know the balance is correct after the end of the year?

      1. Food Service will be printing a report of all balances (positive and negative) of all accounts and will review each account before the beginning of the new school year.

    What happens to the money left in my Graduating Seniors lunch account? 

    1. If you have another child in the district, that remaining balance may be transferred to the other child. Please email suzie_gerhardt@plsd.us with the following information:

      1. The first and last name and student ID of the graduating senior 

      2. The first and last name and student ID of the child who will be getting the remaining balance.

    2. If you do not have another child in the district, then you may request the remaining balance to be refunded to you. Please email suzie_gerhardt@plsd.us with the following information:

      1. First and last name and student ID of graduating senior 

      2. First and last name and full mailing address of parent where the refund will be mailed.

    3. If you do not want a refund and would like to make a donation to another student to pay their negative balance, we can provide you with a receipt of your donation. Please email suzie_gerhardt@plsd.us to request a receipt. 

    Please allow up to 4 weeks for the processing of refund payments to complete the required steps for checks to be mailed to you.
