Letter From the Principal

Principal’s Message

I am excited and honored to welcome you all back to the beginning of another successful school year. This school year will be a year of staff and students setting attainable goals, working harder with intentions on building skill and knowledge in every content area. At Violet ES, we are dedicated to a student-centered program that promotes deeper thinking, understanding, and excellence through our rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum.

This year I have no doubt that our students will throw themselves into their education. They will make the most of the canvas of opportunity that they are offered and they will paint the goals that they aspire to. I have no doubt that if they remain motivated in the classroom, then they will achieve their goals. Their education is sound, creative, innovative, and Violet ES, together with parents and the students themselves, will help to make this a reality.

May I take this opportunity to thank the teachers for their continued professionalism, excellence and dedication. It is your teacher motivation and motivation in the classroom that will help to create a year this is bright with embraced opportunities.

Let’s continue to follow our appeal for a positive, efficient and academic focused environment by being “Kind, Helpful, and Caring”. It is an appeal that we make to our young Super Violets today. We will focus on the word, “help”! Four letters that mean so much. Make the most of the fantastic educational opportunities that you have. You must help yourself so that ultimately you can help others. Each young lady and gentleman here today, in their own way, will need to help. You will need to help solve problems through creativity and innovation. And, you will need to help turn indifference into motivated, helpful action.

This is our goal as the year at Violet ES commences! Let’s continue to work together to help each other to be our most “AWESOME”!

Mrs. Dee Copas
Principal

Upcoming Events

Open House

Please join us for our Open House on Tuesday, August 15th. This event will be from 5:00-6:00 for students in grade levels K-2, and 6:00-7:00 for students in grade levels 3-4. Students and parents meet with us in the cafeteria for a short introduction, meet the teachers in the classroom, then explore the school, and receive a special spirit stick! Students must be accompanied by parents at all times, please. Also, pick-up and/or drop-off forms, as well as the Violet View newsletter in the office. We are encouraging parents to pay their school fees online this school year. It’s a very quick and easy process. Supplies can be dropped off in the classroom as well. We look forward to meeting you for another exciting school year!
