Information From The District

If you have not yet filled in your back-to-school forms and reviewed the important back-to-school information from the district, please visit the Pickerington Schools Back-To-School page for 2021.

Letter From the Principal

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. We are looking forward to seeing all of you and providing excellent educational opportunities for our children.

We would like to ask that you go to the Back to School Page on our website and review the forms located online and follow the directions where indicated. Pay particular attention to the Student Handbook and digitally signing the acknowledgement that you have read the handbook. A registration card will be coming home with your child on the first day of school. Please fill that out and return so we have the correct contact information.

Please make sure you have signed up in Infinite Campus for a Campus Parent account. You can start this process online by going to the top right of the district website under the “I want to” box. Scroll down to the “Access Infinite Campus” to start the process. By registering for a parent account you will automatically receive important school information, such as upcoming school events and cancelations due to bad weather. Our goal is to provide efficient communication to our school community.

On behalf of our entire staff, we are honored to serve your child on his/her educational journey. Remember that together we can accomplish great things for our children!

Sincerely,
Kristi Motsch, Principal
Toll Gate Elementary

From Our PTO: Welcome and Volunteer Opportunities

The Toll Gate Elementary School PTSO wants to extend a warm welcome to all TGES students and families. The TGES PTSO is a dynamic group of parents, teachers, and staff that work hard in order to enrich our children’s elementary school experiences.  As a PTSO, we depend on our volunteers to make all of our endeavors a success, from raising money to purchase playground equipment to providing our amazing staff a meal during busy conference nights.

The TGES PTSO is an independent organization, so one hundred percent of the funds raised by our organization go directly back to the school. The money raised by the PTSO supports programs such as “Leader In Me,” helps teachers purchase classroom supplies, and provides funds for transportation for field trips.

Studies show that parents who are actively involved and engaged in their child’s education make a huge difference in that child’s achievement. The TGES PTSO hopes that you will be involved. We provide volunteer opportunities of all shapes and sizes to fit a wide variety of talents, time commitments, and budgets. If you are interested in becoming part of the TGES PTSO, just do one or all of the following:

Show up to our monthly PTSO meetings (held on the 3rd Thursday of each month starting on September 19, at 7 p.m. in the school media center) and share your ideas and opinions.
Sign up to receive updated volunteer opportunities via Sign-Up Genius (to sign up, just e-mail us at tgesptopresident@gmail.com and we will add you to the contact group).

If you have any questions about the programs and activities, or if you would be interested in volunteering for any of these events, just e-mail us at mailto:tgesptopresident@gmail.com
