Highlights of the Pickerington Schools Board of Education Meeting

BOARD MEMBERS: Keith Kristoff, President;  JD Postage, Vice President; Clay Lopez, Vanessa Niekamp, Cathy Olshefski

The following are selected highlights from the April 11, 2023 Regular Board Meeting held at the District Office located at 90 North East Street in Pickerington.

• The Board is pleased to note donations received from the PNABC Takedown club for the purpose of funding two coaching stipends. 

• The Board accepted, with regret, the resignation of Mary Boucher as Grade 4 teacher at Tussing Elementary effective August 1, 2023 due to retirement. Ms. Boucher has served the District for 25 years.

• The Board approved the following certified personnel contracts: Gabrielle Summers, Diana Small, Briana Hobbs, Kathryn Wright, and Caitlyn DeShane. Please join us in welcoming our newest staff members.

• The Board accepted, with regret,  the resignation of Erniellen Chumley as Ridgeview STEM Junior High Duty Aide, effective August 1, 2023 due to retirement. Ms. Chumley has served the District for 11 years.

• The Board approved the appointment of Roy “Thomas” Oldaker as Duty Aide at Pickerington High School North and the appointment of Evelyn Willard as Custodian at Ridgeview STEM Junior High. Please join us in welcoming our newest staff members.

• The Board approved the contract adjustment of Amy Agganis to Administrative Assistant to the Treasurer. Please join us in congratulating Amy!

• The Board approved the 2023-2024 Student and Athletic Handbooks.  

• The Board approved an administrator contract with Jacob Monhollen as Technology Specialist. Please join us in congratulating Jacob!
