Mission 17 Patch Winners Announced

Another exciting way for our K-12 students to get involved with the SSEP Mission 17 project included the opportunity to enter the Mission Art Patch design competition.

“Every space mission has a patch, and the winning patch designs will represent our community on the International Space Station,” said Secondary Science Instructional Coach Carla Fultz, co-director of the Mission 17 project for PLSD.

Nearly 1000 Pickerington students competed in the SSEP Mission 17 Art Patch Competition.

Our two winners are Ava Leidheiser, a third-grade student from Sycamore Creek Elementary; and Grace O’Grady, a Pickerington High School Central senior. During an upcoming school board meeting, the Pickerington community will recognize our two art patch competition winners and SSEP project finalists.
