Updated 2020-21 School Calendar is Posted

The Board of Education approved the updated 2020-21 school year calendar on July 16, 2020.

Parents are encouraged to refer to this calendar when planning activities such as vacations, family trips, and doctor’s visits.

The first day of school (Grades 1-12) is scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2020 and the last day for grades K-11 is scheduled for Friday, May 21, 2021. Winter break is scheduled to begin for students on Dec. 21 and classes will resume on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Spring break is scheduled for March 29-April 2, 2021.

Key dates on the calendar include:

  • August 24: First Day of School (Grades 1-12)
  • August 27: First Day of School (Kindergarten)
  • September 7: No School, Labor Day
  • September 11: No School, Professional Development
  • October 15: K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • October 20: No School for Kindergarten Only (All Day P/T Conferences)
  • October 22: K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • November 3: No School for K-8, Professional Development
  • November 25-27: No School, Thanksgiving Break
  • December 9: 2 Hour Late Start, Professional Development
  • December 21-January 1: No School, Winter Break
  • January 4: No School, Teacher Record Day
  • January 18: No School, Martin Luther King Day
  • January 22: No School, Innovation Day (Professional Development)
  • February 10: No School, Professional Development
  • February 15: No School, Presidents Day
  • March 4: K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • March 9: K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • March 10: 2 Hour Late Start, Professional Development
  • March 29-April 2: No School, Spring Break
  • April 14: No School, Professional Development
  • May 18: Last Day for Seniors
  • May 21: Last Day for Students K-11
  • May 22: Graduation Day!
