PLSD Parents,

As we gear up for the 2022-23 school year, we thank you for allowing us to educate your child! Next school year, we are implementing a staggered start for students transitioning into new grade bands. The purpose for the staggered start is to allow them to get acclimated to the routines, to meet administrators and other staff members they will see in the building, to meet their classmates, to become familiar with the building, including the playground and lunch room, but most of all, to help calm those first day jitters. Please see the chart in this article to determine the first day of in-person learning for your child(ren), which will depend upon their incoming grade level.**Please note 10-12th grades are asynchronous virtual on 8/15 and only 9th grade students are in person that day.)

Thank you!
