Revised 2021-22 School Year Calendar Is Now Online

The school board approved the revised 2021-2022 school year calendar at its meeting on June 7, 2021.

Parents are encouraged to refer to this calendar when planning activities such as vacations, family trips, and doctor’s visits.

The first day for students in grades 1-12 is scheduled for Monday, August 16, 2021, and the last day is scheduled for May 20, 2022 (Seniors’ last day is May 17, 2022).  The first day for Kindergartners is August 20, 2021.  Winter break is scheduled to begin for students on December 23, 2021, with classes resuming January 4, 2022. Spring Break is scheduled March 21-25, 2022. The last day of school is scheduled for Friday, May 20, 2022 with graduation scheduled on May 21, 2022. Ceremony times will be determined at a later date.

All calamity days during the 2021-2022 school year will be completed virtually on the day school is missed.

And new this school year, on the four staff Professional Development days in bold type below, K-12 students will learn virtually. 

Key dates on the calendar include:

  • August 16: First Day of School (Grades 1-12)
  • August 20: First Day of School (Kindergarten)
  • September 1: 2 Hr. Late Start – Professional Development
  • September 6: No School – Labor Day
  • October 6: Virtual Learning Day K-12 – Professional Development
  • October 7: K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • October 11: No School (Kindergarten Only – All Day Parent/Teacher Conferences)
  • October 12: No School K-8; K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • November 2: No School – Professional Development
  • November 24 – 26: No School, Thanksgiving Break
  • December 1: Virtual Learning Day K-12 – Professional Development
  • December 23-December 31: No School, Winter Break
  • January 3: No School, Teacher Record Day
  • January 17: No School, Martin Luther King Day
  • January 26: No School, Innovation Day (Professional Development)
  • February 2: 2 Hr. Late Start – Professional Development
  • February 21: No School, Presidents Day
  • March 2: Virtual Learning Day K-12 – Professional Development
  • March 3: K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • March 8: K-12 Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences
  • March 21-March 25: No School, Spring Break
  • April 6: 2 Hr. Late Start – Professional Development
  • April 15: No School, Good Friday
  • May 4: Virtual Learning Day K-12 – Professional Development
  • May 17: Last Day for Seniors
  • May 20: Last Day for Students K-11
  • May 21: Graduation Day!
