Graduation, Prom and After Prom Info and Guidelines

The following are guidelines addressing high school end of year events:

Graduation Exercise

  • Commencement will be held at World Harvest on May 22nd.
  • Pickerington High School North’s commencement will begin at 9:00am. Link to the livestream: https://youtu.be/rGOXGy6ICz4
  • Pickerington High School Central’s graduation will begin at 1:00pm. Link to the livestream: https://youtu.be/c0_u1txOI6U
  • The event will be ticketed with each graduate receiving 2 tickets for family members or friends. (If the Governor increases the in-door capacity above 25%, we will add additional tickets accordingly.)
  • The event will be streamed for family members or friends who are unable to attend.
  • Students will be bussed from their high school to World Harvest.
  • No balloons, signs, or flowers will be permitted in the facility. 
  • All in attendance will be expected to leave the facility within 2 hours after the start of the commencement ceremony.
  • The outside doors of World Harvest will be locked at 11:00 am after North’s ceremony and 3:00 pm after Central’s ceremony to allow World Harvest staff enough time to clean and sanitize the facility for the next event. Parents wanting to take pictures after the ceremony must do so outside of the facility. 


  • Prom for Pickerington High School North will take place on April 24th, and Pickerington High School Central will hold their prom on May 1st. Both schools’ proms will be held in their building’s fieldhouse. 
  • Only juniors and seniors from that building will be permitted to attend. Juniors and Seniors of that building who attend Pickerington Alternative School or the Eastland/Fairfield Career Center may also attend.
  • No outside guest will be allowed.
  • Tables will be set up with seating capacity of six students.
  • Food will be served by designated servers.
  • Dancing will be allowed!
  • Anyone in the facility must wear masks at all times unless they are eating or taking pictures.
  • Pictures will be taken by couples only.
  • Live entertainment will be provided. 

After Prom

  • The commons area and/or main gym will be used for after prom in both buildings.
  • No bounce houses will be used this year. 
  • A photo booth will be provided along with board and video games, and casino tables.
  • Food will be provided with servers. 
  • Masks must be worn at all times unless eating.
  • No more than 4 students at a table.
