Picture Day at Lakeview: Thursday, September 6, 2018. Picture Retakes: Wednesday, October 10, 2018, during lunch periods.

Volunteering: Parents/Guardians are encouraged to volunteer for Pickerington Schools. For all volunteers, there is a mandatory Volunteer Application to complete and a Volunteer Code of Conduct to read that you can find online at www.pickerington.k12.oh.us, Forms, or in our main office. It’s easy, valuable to our staff and students, and a lot of fun to volunteer at Pickerington Schools. Lakeview appreciates you!

Electronic Devices: Although we allow students to have cell phones and electronic devices at school, they are to be set on silent mode during the school day and kept in your student’s locker. Students can use their devices in the cafeteria and during class changes. Students may NOT use earbuds in the halls because they cannot hear teacher directions, creating an unsafe setting. Please refer to the school policy regarding electronic devices in the student planner given to each student on the first day of school.

Phone Use at SchoolA student has access to the phone in the office for extreme situations.  Unless it is an emergency, students will not be pulled from class to make/receive phone calls.

Lunch Money: Please make sure your child has a packed lunch or lunch money.  The cost of lunch at Pickerington Schools is determined by the school board each summer.  This year it is $2.75.  Any leftover monies in lunch accounts are carried over to your student’s account for the next school year.  The office or the cafeteria cashiers cannot give out loans to students.  To deposit money in a student’s lunch account, please make your check payable to PLSD Food Service.  Indicate the student’s first and last name and ID number on the memo line of the check.  Students can give the check to the lunchroom cashier. You can also put money into your student’s account by calling Meal Pay at 866-711-7341.  Or call 877-237-0946 to speak to a person at Meal Pay.  You will need your student’s pupil/lunch id #.  You can also go online to deposit money into lunch accounts at My Payments Plus.  Please wait until the first of August to do so. Please contact the Food Services Department at 833-3645 for additional information.  You may also apply for free and reduced lunches ONLINE.

Fee Collection: Once fees are posted by PLSD, families can view fees due by visiting the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  All types of fees may be paid by cash, check or money order (payable to PLSD) or credit card.  Online payments are applied onto Infinite Campus immediately and are highly encouraged.

Ohio High School Athletic Association Physical: Do not deliver this to Lakeview. This OHSAA Physical needs to be given to your coach.  Your coach will get it to Mr. Jeff Good, who will deliver all of the teams’ forms to North’s Athletic Trainer.  The trainer is the person that will be contacted during any event, should that be necessary.  You can find the updated form for 2017-2018 on our website in Lakeview Athletics.

To ensure you continue receiving important messages from the district and your student’s building, all parents with students at any grade level need to update your Infinite Campus information and contact preferences.  Go to:our website “Updating Your Infinite Campus Info and Contact Preferences”Principal Bertke sends a weekly newsletter throughout the school year using the contacts listed on Infinite Campus.
