Letter from the Principal

Dear Families:

At the beginning of this year we developed a new mission for our building. Everyday we recite our mission with the purpose of instilling our goal in all of our students. Using The Leader In Me process in our day to day routines we put our students in leadership roles, create opportunities for each other and pave a path for our future as well as theirs. So, in following with this idea, we recite our mission, “We are here to be Learners, to be Leaders, and to Leave a Legacy,” every day. These ideals are made possible due to our amazing families, supportive and caring staff, and our wonderful students.

I have always thought of Heritage Elementary as a close family in the much larger community of Pickerington.  We will hold many events throughout the year and love it when our families are able to attend.  Thank you for all that you are able to do for your students and together I know we will continue to develop our students into future leaders of tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Chad Rice
