Barbara Fetherolf

I am very pleased to be working with all my students and the support systems they have at home. To those of you who are new to Pickerington High School Central, I welcome you and I am looking forward to getting to know my students to the best of my ability. To those with whom I have worked in years past, I am equally eager to begin another adventurous journey this school year!

Wherever I may happen to be located in the building, I would like for you to know that I intend to provide a flexible, classroom environment that is centered on the idea of focused academic studies. As an intervention specialist, I have the luxury of getting to know my students as individuals. I will sincerely try to meet the unique needs of each one of my students. I understand that successes are different depending upon each individual.

As always, I recognize you, as parents/guardians, are an integral part of this educational process. I welcome your input, questions, concerns, suggestions, etc. It is essential to keep the lines of communication open. You are welcome to call me at the PHSC. The number is 614-548-1800. I can be reached after dismissal (3:00). If I am not available at that particular time, I will return your call as soon as I am able. You may also reach me by e-mail.

As your child’s teacher, I will attempt to stay informed as to how each student is performing outside of my classroom. I collect periodic behavior/academic reports from each of your child’s teachers. Also, keep in mind that I am a link to your child’s other teachers throughout the building. Of course if you have any specific questions regarding assigned work or class expectations, please feel free to contact the teacher of the class, as well.

I am looking forward to this academic year!
