Students in Multimedia compete each year in contests offered by Business Professionals of America. Students get a chance to see how they stack up against other students who are learning digital media in other areas of the state and nation. Multimedia students have qualified for the national conference and won numerous state championships in contests such as Website Design Team, Video Production Team, Fundamentals of Web Design, Desktop Publishing, Computer Animation Team and Presentation Management Team.
Since 2015, Multimedia students have traveled to Anaheim (2x), Boston, Orlando, & Dallas to compete on a national level, coming home with 3 National Championships, the most recent coming in 2019 in Anaheim! Had the 2020 National Leadership Conference not been cancelled amid concerns over the spread of COVID-19, it is likely that a few more championships could have been won.
