Scott Sharples

I am starting my 14th year teaching German, and have been at Pickerington High School Central and Ridgeview Junior High School every year. I graduated from Pickerington High School in 1997 and teach German in the same room I took German in. I never imagined I'd be back in good old 411. My love for the German language and culture came during my two years of missionary service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in and around Berlin, Germany from 1998-2000. I am also the German Club Advisor, a Mentor teacher, and involved in the Sunny Side Up student leadership group. I enjoy spending time with my family and playing sports including basketball, football, and soccer. I am a huge Ohio State fan and a Duke basketball fan. I reside in Pickerington with my wife Jenny and three daughters Aliena (13), Sophie (10), and Layla (7). Go Tigers!
