Summer Ruckh

My name is Summer Ruckh and I teach third grade at Toll Gate Elementary. This will be my seventh year teaching in third grade, with this year being completely self-contained. I graduated from Pickerington High School North in 2010 and was a member of my high school’s varsity tennis team all four years. I love everything about the sport, especially because I was fortunate enough to become a coach. It was there that I discovered my desire to teach, and my passion for helping kids learn and grow!

After high school, I made the decision to attend Kent State University where I graduated in 2014. I began teaching at Toll Gate Elementary that very same year. Since then, I have earned a Reading Certificate and a Masters in Reading Education from Ohio University. I just completed the accredited Orton Gillingham Program and am constantly searching for ways to learn even more!

I am excited to begin this new school year with you and your child!
