Mindy Stricker

Hello! My name is Mindy Stricker. I graduated from Pickerington High School many years ago. After graduation I attended Ohio Dominican College and received my bachelor's degree in education. I began teaching right after I finished my bachelor's degree. A year later, while I was still teaching, I went back to school to receive my master's degree.
This is my 22nd year teaching, all with Pickerington. I have taught at several schools within our district. I started at Ridgeview Junior High my first year, moved to Harmon Middle School for five years, Tussing Elementary for three years and Toll Gate Elementary for the remaining years. My entire teaching career has been in special education.
I grew up in Pickerington and have never left. I truly love this community. When I married 20 years ago my husband and I decided to begin our family here as well. We currently live here with our 4 children (ages 18, 16, 13, and 6), and our 2 family dogs. Our kids keep us very busy with their many activities. When I am not running my kids around or preparing for school I enjoy reading and watching goofy movies with my family. We also enjoy camping and vacationing at the beach.
I am very excited for another wonderful school year!
