Whitney Robinson

I am currently the Assistant Principal for Harmon Middle School. Integration of technology into our classrooms has been one of my platforms since beginning in PLSD nine years ago. In my previous life, I worked as an audio engineer for live shows as well as sports broadcasting with Big Ten Network, Fox Sports, and Lyon Video. This experience has followed me into education, where I get great joy out of seeing learning transformed with innovative, real world tools and ideas.

In my time at Pickerington Schools I have also taught special education in grades 5-6 and 9-12 as well as 5th grade music, and I have been an instructional coach and technology coordinator, which has allowed me to fine tune my ability to meet diverse student needs. I am proud to be a member of the Pickerington family where we put students first in our mission to provide an education that will take our students successfully into tomorrow. I look forward to helping further this mission through my work with staff and students in increasing our use of tools such as G Suite for Education, ST Math, and Chromebooks in the classroom. I am also a strong supporter of Blended Learning and am completing my doctoral dissertation on the effects of this pedagogy in the classroom.
