Susan Stack

Welcome to Second Grade where wonderful learning adventures take place everyday.

I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher at Heritage Elementary. Second grade will be a year to grow as readers, as math problem solvers, and as leaders. I look forward to getting to know your child throughout the year.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. If you are interested in being a classroom volunteer, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Miss Susan Stack

Of course, my most favorite thing to do is to teach second grade. Ever since I was a little girl in second grade, I wanted to be a teacher. I'm so fortunate to be able to come to work everyday and share my love of teaching and learning with my students. I also enjoy being a student, too. Professional development sessions, college courses, and professional websites and resources help to keep me current on best practices in teaching.
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My hometown is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I have also lived in St. Louis, Missouri; Toledo, Ohio; and Cleveland, Ohio. Some of my hobbies include taking yoga classes; reading; and traveling. I especially enjoy visiting and hiking in the National Parks.
