Dear Parents,

Welcome to another exciting new school year. For those of you who are new to the area, welcome to Fairfield Elementary! I am eager and excited to work with your child this year and anticipate a successful year. I want to take a moment and tell you a little about myself.
This is my 11th year teaching at Fairfield Elementary. I received my teaching degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I also have a Master’s Degree in Education concentrating on Reading and Literacy. Last year I participated in Orton Gillingham Multisensory training through the Children's Dyslexia Center in Dublin, Ohio. I am proud to be a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP). I live in Pickerington with my husband and two of my three children. My oldest son lives in Gahanna, my daughter is a senior in high school, and my youngest son is in seventh grade.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with your son or daughter. I hope to create a positive learning environment that makes your child excited to learn. To do this I need your help and input. I know we are going to have an amazing year.
