Bob Blackburn

I began my teaching career with the Chillicothe City Schools as an intervention specialist and have been an educator for over 30 years. I have been with the Pickerington Schools since 2006. I began as a supervisor for special education and the following year became the director of the special education department. After serving as an interim for a year, I became the Assistant Superintendent in 2013.


I received a Bachelor's degree in Social Science Comprehensive, Secondary Education from Rio Grande University in 1986 and my Master's from Ohio University in Special Education in 1992. I have since obtained other licenses including a superintendent's from Ashland University.

I have been married to Candace since 1993 and have two children, Garrett and Breanna.
