Letter from the Principal

Hello, my name is Eric Koch. I am very excited to start my third year as Principal at Diley Middle School. I have worked in the district since 1999. That seems like an eternity ago! I am married and have three children. My kids attend Pickerington Schools and my wife works at Fairfield Elementary School. We are not only students and employees, but also community members like you. 🙂

Over the years, I have worked in the following positions within the district:

• 8th Grade Science Teacher

• Assistant Principal Pickerington High School Central

• Lead Assistant Principal Pickerington High School Central

• Head Principal Ridgeview STEM Junior High School

• 8th, 9th, and JV level boys basketball coach at Ridgeview and Central

Pick Up/ Drop Off Procedures
  • Parent drop off is in the front of the building at Door B (by the cafeteria).  There will be a staff member in front of the building to greet your child beginning at 8:25 am.  We do not open the building doors until 8:25 am so please do not arrive before then.
  • Please make sure your child is prepared to exit out of the vehicle in a timely fashion to prevent a delay in the drop-off line.
  • Parents, please remain in the drop-off/ pick-up line at all times and do not have students cross over into or from the parking lot. We value the safety of all our students.
  • Bus riders will enter the school in the back of the building.
  • Walkers and bike riders will follow the walking path and enter through Door B (by the cafeteria).

Reminder: We do not have supervision for your child prior to 8:25 am.  Please do not arrive prior to that time.  Thank you.

Diley Middle School PTSO 2022 Information

Welcome Back New and Returning Students & Families!

The Diley Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is excited to kick off a new school year.  We have many fun events planned for our students this year along with opportunities to support our amazing teachers and staff and show our appreciation for all they do for our students!

Last year we were able to install a volleyball net, provide meals during conferences for teachers and staff, host the amazing race, pool party, incentives, a talent show, and many more awesome events.

While there is no membership fee to be a member of the Diley PTSO, we can’t do it without your help and hope you will consider participating as much as you are able to join us in our mission.

The PTSO will have a table set up at Back-to-School Night on August 12th with spirit wear for purchase and a sign-up sheet to collect contact information for anyone interested in volunteering with the PTSO this year. In addition, we will have directions on how to sign up for Kroger Community Awards and the Amazon Smile program that donates funds to our school based on purchases you make when you designate Diley Middle School as the recipient.

Please be sure to follow us on Facebook at DILEY MIDDLE SCHOOL PTSO to keep up with the latest info throughout the school year.  Our flyers will also be included in the weekly Diley newsletter that is emailed to all Diley families.

Hope to see you at Back-to-School Night. Looking forward to a great year!
