ATTENDANCE
Parents/Guardians need to notify the school by 9:00 AM when their student is going to be absent. Attendance is calculated into a student’s record as follows: 1/2 day absence is charged when a student has missed at least 1 hour and 25 minutes. A full day is charged when a student has missed 3 hours and 45 minutes or more.
Please review the attendance policy found in the student planner which students receive on their first day of school. Unexcused tardies are discussed in the planner also. The attendance number is 548-1701. Homework can be requested by 9:00 AM daily.
DRESS CODE
We would like to take this opportunity to remind students and parents of our dress code. Girls; skirts, dresses and shorts must be reasonable length; at least one half the distance between the hip and the knee.
Shirts with spaghetti straps or bare mid-drifts are not permitted. Boys' pants should fit appropriately, and not be sagging. Thank you for your help in this matter. If you have any questions about appropriate dress standards for school, please refer to the student planner.
SCHOOL FEE COLLECTION
School fees will be billed with your child's first grade card. Fees may be paid via mail with a check or credit card, or payments may be received at the district treasurer's office at 90 East Street, or paid in the main office at Ridgeview.
