Mark Aprile to be inducted into OCC Hall of Fame

Mark Aprile, Pickerington Schools Director of Student Activities, will be inducted to the Ohio Capital Conference Hall of Fame.

Inductees were selected through a nomination process by member schools, and the Hall of Fame Committee made final selections.

Aprile began coaching and teaching in Pickerington High School in 1992 and spent five years as a head baseball coach and assistant football coach. In 1997, he became the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal until 2011.

While coaching baseball, he lead the team to be OCC Champions for three years.

He also has had success with other teams in state championships including cross-country, girl’s and boy’s basketball, boy’s track, softball, wrestling, swimming, and bowling.

Aprile currently serves as the district’s Director of Student Activities
