PLSD Presents The "Fab Five" to The Ohio State University During Engineering Signing Event

Signing days typically conjure images of student athletes in baseball caps, but what about students who excel in academics the same way top athletes excel in sports? The Ohio State College of Engineering believes in the importance of celebrating the achievements of the best and the brightest high school seniors and did so April 21, during its first Ohio State Excellence in Engineering Signing Day. The Ohio State University welcomed PLSD's fabulous five seniors. They are: •    Ryan Knight - PHSC •    Jayson Perkins - PHSN •    Nolan Rudolph - PHSN •    Trevor Stockert - PHSN •    Johnathan VanCourt - PHSN Excellence in Engineering Signing Day is a special event to recognize outstanding potential engineering students. Participants heard from University President E. Gordon Gee, College of Engineering Dean David Williams, distinguished Ohio State engineering alumni, faculty, and current students about the nationally recognized engineering program. They also visited the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, where they met Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer before watching Scarlet battle Gray in the Spring Game.
