The mission of the Pickerington Local School District Department of Communications is to inform and engage citizens, employees and students about the District’s progress, issues and activities by coordinating, facilitating and disseminating open, honest, and thorough communications materials about District departments to the community-at-large.
True to the rich heritage of the Pickerington community, the Department of Communications offers mass communications services in order to assist in the achievement of the District’s overarching mission of providing all children with an efficient and nurturing educational environment, which creates life-long learners who are socially responsible citizens.
This type of communications effort leads to a better understanding of the programs and services the District offers and how it conducts its daily operations.
